She kissed him on the nose. “What?”

Mia straightened. Then she stood and took his hand. At the last thought, he smiled. She had a not-quite-flat stomach but it looked firm nonetheless. It was low and rough. He propped himself up on and elbow to look down at her. Quincy’s eyes slid shut at the soothing noise, and he allowed his head to loll around against the headrest. Once inside, Quincy stopped. “See what you do to me?” She let go of his hand and he pulled away.
